Okay, just something I thought would be good to try out over here, considering we could probably all use a little inspiration now and then.
I've always been fond of "line prompts," where someone gives you a line of dialogue or description, and then you take that line and run with it. You include it somewhere in your fic--beginning, middle, end, footnote, title, quotation, whatever--but you're really free to write whatever the heck it makes you feel like writing.
Anyway, I came up with a few of these that I intend to play with myself, but I thought you lovely ladies wouldn't mind dinking around with either.
These were all formulated with JakxSeem in mind, and I know what I want to do with most of them, but I'd really like to see what other ideas people have for using them. Andw e could really use some more fic over in the writing section, so hopefully at least one of these will inspire a couple of you!

Dialogue Prompts1. "Even you need sleep, you know."
2. "No, that's not right at all."
3. "...Okay, now you aren't even trying."
4. "Easy for you to say."
5. "Yes, of course, whatever you say..."
Descriptive Prompts1. It wasn't the easiest thing to do, but like or not it had to be done.
2. The night air was cold. Colder than it should have been, the sky a shade darker and the stars too far away to sparkle quite like they should have.
3. Why was it that libraries always smelled old? Wasn't it possible for there to be one room filled with books or scrolls or texts on this entire planet that didn't smell like stale air and dead skin?
4. Their eyes met, the wind shifted, and something just...snapped.
5. Years later, they would look back on this moment and still not be sure what to think.
